Wild Game Feed November 1st....

The Wild Game Feed, Raffle & Silent Auction has been set for

Saturday, November 1st from 4-7:00 pm.   


Sign-ups for the Game Feed and Silent Auction are now out.   

Game Feed:  We are looking for game donations (venison, elk, moose, bear, fish and fowl).  You name it, we'll take it! 

Also, set-up/clean-up, cooks & kitchen help.  


Raffle:  We have a Polaris Sportsman 400 4-wheeler.  Tickets are on sale every Sunday for $20.00.  We also need people to get out and sell tickets to family and friends.  We have 500 tickets to sell! See Dezeray Pollard for tickets books.


Silent Auction:  We are asking for help from the entire congregation to solicit area businesses, post advertising fliers, and/or donate items or services for the Silent Auction.  Here are some ideas to get your wheels turning:

  • Gift BasketsWine & cheese, gardening, kitchen gadgets, food--soups, Italian, Mexican, new baby, spa, soaps & candles, sewing, Christmas, outdoor sportsman, BBQ & grilling, sports fan, tea & coffee, movie night. 
  • Service ideas:  Handyman & upkeep, cooking a meal, dinner party, makeover, hair cutting, babysitting, pet sitting, house cleaning, construction & improvement, lawn care, plowing.
  • Experiences:  Sporting event tickets, concert tickets, movie/theater tickets, dining out gift cards, fishing/hunting excursion, plane ride, snowmobile trail ride, canoeing/kayaking, camping, skiing, pontoon excursion.

Be creative!  Google silent auction ideas--there's lots out there!


If every family in the congregation solicited just one business or donated one item or service, we could have over 150 items.

Strategic Planning Ahead....

On Saturday, October 25th, from 9:00 am - 12 pm, a group will engage in a Strategic Planning Retreat, to devise a 5-year plan for the mission and vision of our church.


The final touches are being put on the Strategic Plan Survey and will be rolled out to the congregation soon. Your feedback is very important.  Please take a few moments to take the survey.

Playground Update

Let's all come together to help raise funds for a new playground for the children of Bubbling Brook and Waters of Life. We are currently selling discount cards to help raise funds. You can purchase those on Sundays after church, at the Gnesen Store, or from Danielle at the Daycare. We are also collecting shiny paper. Here are some pictures of playground equipment the Center is currently looking at.

Running Group

Pastor Tim is putting together a running group.  Many people have expressed interest in participating.  Sunday morning before worship or Wednesday evenings are a couple options.  Please contact Pastor Tim @ 343-2413 or with your preference and if you are interested in joining.  As soon as the winter loosens its grip, we will begin.

Have you visited Waters of Life recently?  Are you ready to join our community of faith?  


This Sunday, January 19th is New Member Sunday!  If you are interested in joining Waters of Life, please come to worship this Sunday and be received as new members.  


Pastor Tim will be taking all new members out to lunch at the Island Lake Inn following the service to get to know you better.  If you are able to join him, please contact Mary in the office at 721-4476 or

Our annual Pig Roast is right around the corner! Sign ups are in the narthex now, come out and have some fun as we celebrate and remember our years together as a community and eat some delicious pig prepared by our roasters extraordinaire Kurt, Andrew, and Crew!
